Rent-a-Wrapper ®

We offer those of our (prospective) customers, who cannot or do not want to purchase the pallet wrapping machines, the possibility of renting.

One can rent our semi-automatic pallet wrapping machine. This machine is supplied with a turntable and our LiteWrapper® film. Please note: all wrapping film must be purchased from EVC for each rented wrapping machine.

The rental period is to be determined by both parties. The rental fee will be based, among other things, on the length of the rental period.

EVC machines have many unique features, and the essential difference between our machines and our competitors' standard machines, are worth noting:

  • Our machines are put together with the most reliable components and are therefore, of the highest technical quality. We stand behind each and every one of our machines.
  • Column height.  Most wrapping machine towers are 1800 to 2000 mm high, but EVC wrapping machines have an extended tower height of 2400 mm. This allows wrapping of higher pallets and produces lower shipping costs.
  • Turntable. Our wrapping machine turntables have a diameter of 1650 mm, instead of the usual 1500 mm. This added safety feature of a larger turntable, makes it possible for the whole pallet, (e.g. the block pallet) to be placed within the confines of the turntable. This in turn creates a safer working environment.
  • The PLC has been pre-programmed with our unique Ergowrap pallet wrapping programme. This program makes it possible for the film carriage to be placed at any position on the tower. Wrapping of the load can now be started at any height. This again provides for a safer environment and is physically less taxing on the operators. This feature can be activated, when needed.
  • The turntable and the film carriage are regulated separately by our unique frequency control system. This ensures the minimum use of film and optimum stabilization of the pallet and load.
  • The film is pre-stretched by an electromagnetic brake, instead of a mechanical brake.
  • EVC machines run on 230 Volt single-phase, instead of 3-phase 400 Volts. This allows easy placement of the  machine, anywhere on the work floor.
  • Last but not least, our film carriage has been placed on the left side of the tower. Most machines have the carriage on the right side of the tower, but forklift drivers need to load from the left side. Our machines are, once again, more efficient and expeditious.
